Eulogy for Reno de Anda Fast, Wolf-Malamute
Reno, we thank you for living with us and bringing many fond experiences to our family. We stand in awe of your majesty and power, and your capacity to be one of us. We are so grateful to have had you live with us and will remember and treasure those days for the rest of our lives.

We decided that Reno deserved some ritual, so Don read the eulogy (above) which he wrote, and then I slowly beat a large American Indian healing drum with a soft mallet. It was about 8:30 tonight in the glow of two lanterns and the deep, low rhythm resonated in the night air.
His grave is at the base of the hill he used to climb.
