Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Mallory Mathews excelled in math and science as a child and always dreamed of becoming a doctor one day. Not until she worked at a small animal clinic after high school did she realize her interest specifically in veterinary medicine. An Alabama native, Dr. Mathews was born and raised in Birmingham and then pursued her love of animals just a few hours south at Auburn University where she received her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences in 2015. She loved Auburn so much and stayed and received her veterinary medical degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Mathews is excited to begin her veterinary career out on the west coast at Center Sinai Animal Hospital. She immediately fell in love with the team of doctors as well as the easy going staff. She enjoys the fast paced and friendly environment, and of course all of her sweet patients. She has particular interests in preventative care, oncology, and internal medicine. Although her accent isn’t strong, she is a true southerner and believes that genuine and friendly communication is key to both patient and client satisfaction.
When Dr. Mathews isn’t working, she enjoys music, baking, exercising, watching Auburn football, and of course, hanging out with her dog, Rooney. As an avid foodie, she is especially loving LA’s many restaurants and attractions.
